attendAEC ("we," "us," or "our") operates attendaec.com (the "Service"). attendAEC is an event calendar aggregator that collects publicly available event information from AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry organizations across New England and presents them in a single, searchable calendar.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter or create an account
• Account information (name, company, role), if you register for an account in the future

Information collected automatically:

• Standard web analytics data: page views, referring URL, device type, browser type, and approximate geographic region
• We do not use cookies for tracking. Any analytics we employ are privacy-focused and do not track individual users across sites.

Third-party services:

3. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver and operate the event calendar service
• Send newsletter digests, if you have opted in
• Improve the Service based on usage patterns

• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Infrastructure providers: Supabase, Vercel, and Mapbox receive data as necessary to operate the Service.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data Retention

• Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
• Event data (scraped from public sources) is retained indefinitely as part of the Service.

• Request deletion of your personal data
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email to newsletter subscribers.
